With warmer weather approaching everyone wants to shed that winter weight to get bare arm and bikini ready, right? Well, lately I’ve been noticing my friend Tonoa Bond has been posting a daily “Get Healthy Weight Loss Tip” on her Facebook page, with some really mouth watering, delicious looking meals. But it was Tonoa’s post today that really grabbed my attention because it addressed metabolism; something every woman over 40 wants to know how to keep fired up.
So ladies, here is Tonoa’s Sunday “Get Healthy Weight Loss” Tip: “Slow metabolism? One great way to speed it up is to incorporate a fruit and veggie smoothie into your diet at the beginning of your day. The natural sugars will speed up your digestion leaving you wanting more. Follow that up with 5 other small meals throughout the day, and your body comes out of starvation mode where it holds on to fat for fear it won’t eat again, and you step right into health mode where the pounds fall off because that extra fat is no longer needed.”
